A stripping knife is a tool designed for the precise removal of dead undercoat. Compared to trimmers, it allows for greater accuracy and is better suited for smaller areas (such as around the head, neck, and thighs).

The long teeth of the stripping knife are ideal for penetrating the outer coat, making it effective for removing dead undercoat. When used correctly, this tool can be applied to various coat types – from wiry coats (such as Schnauzers, Terriers, and Dachshunds) to silky coats with undercoat (such as Spaniels). Its use is recommended for more experienced groomers.

Usage instructions:
– Draw the tool in the direction from head to tail and from back to ground
– Hold the tool as parallel to the skin as possible to avoid injury
– Remove collected hair from the tool as you work and continue grooming
– Use only once every 14 days to avoid damaging the outer coat

The Natis brand is committed to selecting quality products for the effective care of your pet. All tools available in the Natis product line are tested by professionals, who have selected them as suitable for pet grooming, for both home and professional use.
